Chris Wyman is the founder of Wyman Insurance Group, an independent insurance agency dedicated to helping families find the right coverage at the best value.

Chris attended college in Boston, where he played collegiate hockey at UMass Boston for four years before graduating in 2012. His time as a student-athlete helped shape his discipline, work ethic, and competitive drive—qualities he carries into his business today. Outside of work, Chris enjoys golfing, running, cooking, and staying active.

Chris began his insurance career in 2022 with State Farm, where he was selected for their Agent Aspirant Program. During this time, he built a strong foundation in risk management, client relationships, and personalized coverage solutions. He later transitioned to an independent agency, where he spent 18 months gaining hands-on experience navigating the broader insurance marketplace and working with multiple carriers to better serve clients.

In August of 2025, Chris founded Wyman Insurance Group with a clear mission: to provide families with honest guidance, competitive options, and a better overall insurance experience. By offering access to a wide range of top-rated carriers, Chris and his team are able to tailor coverage to each client’s unique needs—whether it’s home, auto, landlord, health, or business insurance.

At the core of Chris’s work is his own growing family. He and his wife Lauren, married for nearly five years, are raising their daughters Emma (3), Alice (nearly 2) and Molly (born June 2026). This personal perspective drives his passion for helping other families protect what matters most while also being mindful of their budgets.
